The eldest is Eustis “Old Man” Harpers, with his wife Fern and their sons Jayne and Eik.
Also on the homestead is the Harpers' nephew Werther Barron and his wife Matilda.
Lastly, the Harpers' niece Gayle Wallis and her husband Franklin round out the inhabitants.
